When a wooden cross, plaque or sculpture arrives, inspect it before choosing its final place. A short delivery-day check helps you compare the item with your selected option, keep a useful record and ask a clear question if something needs attention. This checklist covers unpacking and inspection; it is not an installation guide or a substitute for the current return policy.
1. Make room before opening the parcel
Choose a clear, stable surface with enough space for the package and the carving. Support the main body when moving it, rather than lifting by a projecting decorative detail. If the item is awkward to handle safely, arrange help before lifting it. These are general handling principles, not a claim that every carving has the same construction.
2. Keep a record of the package and its contents
If helpful, photograph the outside of the parcel and the packing arrangement as you open it. Set aside the box, protective material and any loose contents while you check the item. Do not force the carving out if the packaging catches on a detail; pause and ask for guidance.
A packaging example is not a list of everything included with every product. Box size, protective material and fit can differ by item. Scene decorations and gift-presentation props are not automatically included. Compare what arrived with the selected product listing and any details confirmed for your order.
3. Compare the selected option, not just the product photograph
- Check the design and finish against the option you ordered.
- Use the recorded measurements for that option. A nominal inch label alone does not establish its exact height, width or thickness.
- Check any separately listed components against the product description. Do not assume that every relief has a stand or that every wall piece uses the same mounting hardware.
If a measurement is unclear, describe how you measured it and ask MOKARVE to confirm the comparison. For a folding piece, state the panel position rather than comparing two different arrangements as if they were identical.
4. Look before hanging, assembling or applying a treatment
Look over the front, edges, back and any visible connections. If something appears damaged, loose or different from the selected option, pause before hanging it, forcing a connection, polishing the finish or attempting a repair. If helpful, take an overall photograph and a close view of the area that concerns you.
This visual check does not certify that a wall fixing or surface is suitable. Confirm the selected product's support requirements and the intended wall or display surface separately. See our material and care guidance before using a cleaning product.
5. Ask a specific question if something needs attention
Use MOKARVE's contact page to describe the issue, the selected option and when you noticed it. Provide relevant order information through that contact route rather than posting it in a public discussion. Clear photographs and a short description are more useful than trying to diagnose the cause yourself.
For return eligibility, conditions and the request process, read the current return policy. Keeping packaging or taking photographs does not by itself establish eligibility, and this checklist does not add a free-return promise or change the policy. These checks are practical suggestions, not additional conditions for a return or the exercise of your statutory rights.
Quick checklist
Prepare a clear surface; record the package; compare the ordered option and actual measurements; inspect before use; contact MOKARVE if a detail needs clarification.
